How Gonstead Works
The Gonstead system is the most specific, analytical approach to chiropractic adjustment. It does not treat regions. It identifies the exact vertebral segment that is driving your dysfunction and corrects it with precision. Every adjustment is based on objective findings: X-ray analysis, instrumentation, motion palpation, and visualization. This is not a general "crack and go" approach. It is structural engineering for your spine.
Is this right for you?
Hardworking, active adults dealing with recurring low back tightness, sciatica, postural breakdown, or chronic spinal stiffness that keeps coming back despite stretching and foam rolling. If you have tried other chiropractors and the problem returned within weeks, the adjustment likely was not specific enough.
Your first session
Your first visit includes a full structural analysis. Dr. Fair will identify the primary subluxation driving your pattern, explain what he finds in plain English, and deliver a targeted correction. You will know exactly what was adjusted and why. Most patients feel a measurable difference after the first session.
Gonstead is one part of the system. Not a standalone fix.
Pain is a lagging indicator. Treating symptoms in isolation is why problems keep returning. Gonstead works best as part of a coordinated plan that identifies the driver, corrects the dysfunction, and builds durability so the problem stops cycling.
